I ordered a Jai Shri Shyam cotton chindi rug through online shopping from Amazon. I had placed an order through cash on delivery option. It was delivered in good condition and in good packaging within 8 days of order. The cotton rug appeared to be old, dirty and not clean, bright as per the product picture shown on the Amazon app.
The cotton chindi rug MRP is Rs.999/-. For the cotton rug, I paid an Amazon price of Rs.380/- with tax and free shipping charges. I am dissatisfied with the Seller’s service because they have knowingly sent an old and used-looking rug which is greatly disappointing.

In this Amazon decor product review of the Jai Shri Shyam contemporary cotton chindi rug, I want to state that the cotton rug is small in size, lightweight, easy to carry and can be used in the living room, balcony or under a small side/coffee table. Most importantly its economical pricing can adjust your budget easily. The Seller had delivered the rug in good packaging, in the exact colour and style as per my order but it appeared old and dirty.
The Jai Shri Shyam cotton rug looks attractive because of its multicoloured pattern with braided weave and round shape. The cotton rug is small in size and its dimensions are exactly 90 x 90 cm. It is a lightweight rug that is easy to carry and the cotton chindi material is easy to hand wash. The Braided weave type is solid and appears to have good finishing. It has the same pattern and finishes on both sides so it can be flipped and used from both sides. It needs sweeping on a daily basis as the dust gets settled on its surface. It can be washed under a running tap using mild detergent and a soft brush. It is thick so requires direct sunlight for complete drying.
I have ordered this cotton rug to use under a small coffee table and I have placed it on my balcony. It has enhanced the overall look of the coffee table and the balcony corner area. It would have looked stunning if it was a fresh and new-looking rug.
In my opinion, for the given price of Rs.380/-, the Jai Shri Shyam cotton chindi rug is durable a value-for-money home decor product because it is attractive, washable and useful as well. This cotton rug can be a gift option for loved ones. I am completely satisfied with the Jai Shri Shyam product design, quality and pricing but dissatisfied with the Seller’s service because they have knowingly shipped a dirty and old-looking rug. I hope the seller will not repeat the same thing with other buyers.
I will recommend this cotton chindi rug to homemakers who want a budget-friendly, useful, small and washable rug to enhance the look of the bedroom/living room or balcony.
