IFB Dishwasher Price And Installation Details
I purchased an IFB dishwasher Neptune vx in the year June 2018 from a local IFB showroom in my city. I purchased it for Rs. 35000.00 which is including taxes. IFB technician installed my dishwasher on the next day of my purchase. He guided me about how to use the dishwasher efficiently. On his advice, I purchased IFB dishwasher adjustable stand for Rs. 1600.00 from him and the dishwasher was installed. The IFB dishwasher stand with wheels is of good quality so moving the dishwasher is easy.
The additional expenses were on new electric plugs and plumbing requirements like water inlet and water outlet. Also initially along with the dishwasher I had brought IFB dishwasher detergent 1 kg container, IFB dishwashing salt 1 Kg container and IFB rinse aid 200 ml bottle from the IFB showroom itself.
So after adding all the above expenses my total expenses until the dishwasher’s installation and first use had come to a total of Rs. 40000.00

I have been using IFB Dishwasher Neptune VX since June 2018. Initially, for around 2 months I was using IFB dishwashing salt and rinse aid as per user manual instructions. I was informed by the IFB technician who had come for installation that if the main water supply is clean and lite then there is no need for using dishwashing salt and rinse aid. So I decided to use the dishwasher without salt and rinse aid.
So, since September 2018 I have been using the IFB dishwasher for cleaning Indian utensils without dishwashing salt and rinse aid. This saves on my additional expenses of using a dishwasher.
I use the IFB dishwasher twice a day for cleaning utensils. Most of the time I scrub and keep utensils in the dishwasher until it is fully loaded. This saves on dishwasher use and also keeps the kitchen counter clean all the time
All utensils are coming out hygienically clean and clear
I use a minimum quantity of IFB dishwasher detergent in the dishwasher because I soak all my utensils in water before removing leftovers with a steel scrubber. This habit is helpful as I can use the minimum time and temperature program of the dishwasher. This habit of soaking and cleaning leftovers helps me in the savings of detergent, water and electricity usage.
For me using an IFB dishwasher is a happy experience because I do not need the help of a maid anymore for utensils cleaning work. I am using this dishwasher now at a minimum expense of just IFB dishwasher detergent 1 kg container which is enough for me for almost 3 months.

How I Use IFB Dishwasher Neptune VX Effectively
I wash Steel, Aluminium, glass and plastic utensils using my dishwasher
I wash aluminium and hard anodized pressure cookers of capacity 2,3,5 litres
I wash mixers jars, knives, wooden ladles, peelers, stone mortar, gas stove metal stands without any damage issues to items and for the dishwasher
Since I own a dishwasher I have made sure that all my future cookware purchases are dishwasher safe
I regularly clean the water inlet hose for the best water pressure which results in perfect cleaning and no detergent residues
On every use, I regularly check the free movement of both the spray arms and water flow from the water outlet to ensure that there is no blockage
I keep the dishwasher door slightly open after dishwashing which helps to prevent foul odour and saves additional expenses on the dishwasher freshener
I clean the dishwasher filter regularly but because I do soaking and scrubbing of utensils before dishwashing the filter is clean most of the time
I have stopped using and buying low-quality plastic containers, utensils and kitchen items that are not dishwasher safe
I never place any heavy items, liquids or warm utensils on top of my dishwasher

The major con concerning the IFB dishwasher Neptune vx design is that its internal metal body is not shockproof, so my advice will be always to keep children away from the dishwasher.
It happened 2 to 3 times because of my apartment’s electricity earthing problem I had to go through mild shocks when I touched the internal metal body while loading the dishwasher
But it happened because of my apartment earthing issue so in this regard, I would suggest IFB make improvements in their future designs
