Benefits Of Isha Cottage Stay
Isha Yoga Center offers consecrated spaces which assist in the spiritual growth of the devotee. These spaces are designed, created and consecrated by Shi Sadguruji. It houses a powerful Dhyanalinga Temple, Shri Linga Bhairavi Devi Temple, Shri Naga Shrine, Sadhana Halls and a beautiful Nandi statue. It also houses 2 Theerthkunds i.e. Suryakund and Chandrakund.
In my honest opinion, Isha Yoga Center is not a tourist destination. It is a space specifically devoted to everyone’s overall well-being and most importantly, spiritual growth. To explore and experience these consecrated spaces in their full depth and dimensions, a devotee should stay here, inside the Isha Yoga Center, as a cottage guest. As a cottage guest, you get 2 times free yogic food at Biksha Hall and you have a lot of time to devote to your spiritual practices. A devotee can attend Guru Pooja, Devi Abhishekam, Naad Aradhana, Devi procession, Kaivlya Vadyam and various occasional celebrations which happen at the Isha Ashram. If one is lucky, one can attend Sadguru Darshan which is offered at Chandrakun, Suryakund premises as per Sadguru’s availability. At Biksha Hall, morning brunch and evening dinner are offered free. It offers pure yogic food which is delicious, healthy and easy to digest. I feel this is the highlight of Isha’s stay. The food is prepared using organic ingredients and it is cooked without using onion, green chilli and garlic. So when one has the option of staying inside the Isha Yoga Center, in their stunning cottages which offer comfort, peace and health at extremely affordable prices, then why waste money anywhere else?
Isha Nadi Cottage And Brahmaputra Cottage Stay Reviews
As a cottage guest, my time spent at the Nadi AC cottage was enjoyable. “Bhavani” was the name of my cottage. I reserved a 7-day stay at Nadi Cottage. For two people, I had selected a Standard AC room. I spent Rs. 1,300 per day for a standard AC cottage. The double bed in this room was cosy and featured a plush mattress. There was a functioning air conditioner in it. There was a wooden stand in this Nadi room where we kept our stuff. There was one table and two chairs available. It included clothes hangers and a mirror. There was a bathroom attached. This bathroom had a separate bath area with a shower, a wash basin, and a Western-style toilet. There was a geyser for the hot water system as well. Corridors were present.
Many times, I used the free shuttle cart service between Nadi Cottage, Dhyanlinga Temple and Biksha Hall. Two South Indian restaurants around the Dhyanalinga Temple offer delicious and fresh food items at reasonable prices. I enjoyed staying here, no complaints. I am very happy with their room services.
I spent seven days at the Brahmaputra Cottage. Brahmutra Cottage is a three-story structure. It offers a contemporary lift service. It was a regular room without AC. I paid Rs. 850/-a day in rent for this accommodation. I was permitted to stay for longer than seven days as I had registered for Klesha Nashana Kriya. The Brahmaputra room has an abundance of natural light and space. It features white drapes hanging on French windows. It includes room for storing personal items. There is a contemporary bathroom adjoining. This bathroom features a large bath space, a wash basin, and a Western-style toilet. The hot water geyser was the only thing I overlooked. The mattresses are cosy. There are two ceiling fans. The windows throughout the room. This is the room I stayed in during my Linga Seva. I used to get up at three in the morning. The hot water facility was absent, therefore I had to take a cold water bath every day at 3:30 am. By 4.30 am, I had to be at the Dhyanalinga temple.
