This year Isha Saptarishi Arati will be offered to the Yogeshwar Linga at the Adiyogi on the 22nd of December 2023 from 6 pm to 9 pm. I see this unique opportunity as a perfect way to end the year 2023 for me. So I have registered for this program online and I am so excited to witness this powerful process which invokes Shiva’s grace. I started 2023 by participating in the Yogeshwar Linga consecration at Adiyogi Bangalore and I wish to end my 2023 by participating in the Saptarishi Arati at the Adiyogi Coimbatore. I am so happy.

What Is Saptrishi Arati?
Shiva taught his followers, the Seven Sages, the potent technique known as Saptarishi Arati thousands of years ago. Priests at the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi have managed to retain the process in its original, unadulterated form.
Seven priests from Kashi perform the Saptarishi Arati annually on the winter solstice as a way to thank the Saptarishis for serving as a conduit for Shiva’s blessing. It is exclusively offered at the Kashi Vishwanath temple on this particular day.
Sadhguru experienced this process for the first time in a very potent way when he went to the Kashi Vishwanath temple. He characterizes the procedure as the building of strong energy stacks. “It is a technology,” he states. It’s amazing what they managed to construct in this temple in 45 to 60 minutes. That is unlike anything I have ever witnessed priests do.
According to Sadhguru, Shiva passed down this knowledge to the Saptarishis thousands of years ago, with Devi serving as a witness. “How can we carry your presence with us?” was a question posed by Saptarishis as they travelled the world teaching the science of yoga. And so the Saptarishi Arati got underway.

Fill in the registration form and make an online payment according to your seat category. You will receive registration and payment confirmation along with details of the program guidelines. I have registered for the Bay – Kashi and I have paid online R.2000/- for a general seat.

Isha Saptarishi Arati Program Guidelines
I have received an email with my registration confirmation for this program. In that, I have received the following information. The Saptarishi Arati will be offered on 22nd December 2023 from 6 pm onwards.
Program Schedule – 3 pm – Take a holy dip in Suryakund/Chandrakund. 6.20 pm to 6.30 pm – Sadguru Presence Time, 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm – Saptarishi Arati and 9.45 pm to 10.30 pm is Dinner time.
Check-in for the Program will be from 9 am to 5 pm on 22nd December 2023 at Surya Kund Mandapam. Devotee’s arrival is requested at the Adiyogi seating area before 6 pm.
Tips:- Other Ways To Participate
One way is to make an online offering called the Sapta Pushpanjali. For a Single person, its cost is Rs.660/-. You have to make an online payment and register for it. Sapta Pushpanjali is an offering of seven different flowers which will be offered on your behalf during Saptarishi Avahanam. Another way is that the devotee can register for the live stream and experience this powerful process of invoking Shiva’s grace while sitting in the comfort of one’s home.
