I purchased a Dream Care waterproof king-size Teri cotton mattress protector – Maroon through online shopping from Amazon in November 2019. Dream Care king-size mattress protector MRP is Rs. 1999/-. I had paid the Amazon price of Rs.939/- for this Dream Care mattress protector which was excluding Rs.49/- promotional discount and included tax and free shipping charge. It was delivered in good packaging and in good condition within 7 days of order. I made an online payment for this order. The Amazon seller has sent the exact size and colour as per my order. Dream Care mattress protector appeared not to have any defect or damage.
How To Wash Mattress Protector
Dream Care mattress protector is machine washable. Always use a delicate wash program to wash a mattress protector because it has a synthetic inner layer. A normal wash program with fast spinning action can damage the synthetic inner lining of the mattress protector. Use liquid detergent for best results. Do not use fabric conditioners. After adding liquid detergent let it soak for at least 1/2 an hour. In the Washing machine, 100% drying of the protector is not possible because of the synthetic inner layer. Water droplets remain on that layer. Let the mattress protector dry in direct sunlight. Put it on the cloth drying stand. It easily drys in direct or indirect sunlight. The darker colours are easy to maintain as stains are less visible.

In this Amazon mattress protector review of the Dream Care mattress protector, I want to state that it is very useful to protect the expensive mattress from fluids, sweat, dust and dirt. It was delivered within 7 days in the exact colour and size as per my order. This Dream Care mattress protector appeared not to have any damage or defect.
I came across this innovative product during my product research on Amazon App. This is my second mattress protector. I bought an expensive king-size mattress worth Rs.40,000/-. So I had ordered first, a Wakefit Brand king-size mattress protector in maroon colour to protect the same mattress. I was very happy with its quality and performance. I have one more bed and for that, I have ordered this second Dream Care king-size mattress protector. I preferred the maroon colour as it will be easy to maintain and the dark colour will look attractive for a longer period. Again, I had ordered a king-size, Maroon coloured mattress protector.
Dream Care mattress protector came in beautiful packaging. The maroon colour was dark and attractive. The Teri cotton top cover was soft, cool, breathable and comfortable. The elastic strap is provided on the outer side for an easy snug fit on the mattress. It had a TPU inside layer which is 100% waterproof. This TPU layer does not make any plastic rustling sound or does not have any foul synthetic odour. When it was taken out of the packet, it appeared little small, shrunk type material. This Teri cotton material is easily stretchable because of its elastic strap on the outer border. I had to put it around the mattress and had to tuck its ends below the mattress. It was easy to put this protector on the king-size mattress. The protector was put from the upper side of the mattress. It covered my mattress from the upper side and 4 sides along the width. My king-size mattress’s width is 5 inches and the protector easily stretches and covers the mattress. The 70% downside of the mattress remains uncovered.
Dream Care mattress protector fits perfectly on a king-size mattress. The Teri cotton top layer holds the bedsheet in place without any problem. It does not create any heat in the body. The Teri cotton material is very comfortable and soft to the touch. The TPU inside layer is white in colour and it is 100% waterproof. The protector is lightweight and easy to carry. My white mattress is now safe from fluids, dust, allergens and dust mites. It has helped to enhance the overall life of my mattress and also it will remain fresh and hygienic for a longer time. It has protected my mattress from stains and liquids many times. The protector is lightweight, and easy to remove, and the elastic strap provides a loose fit. Dream Care mattress protector is a durable product because it is made of premium quality materials. In case of any liquid falls on the top Teri cotton layer, it remains on the surface and the inner TPU layers prevent it from entering the mattress. It should be removed and washed immediately after such an incident. It will not dry on its own. The moisture will remain on the top layer until you wash and dry it thoroughly.
The most important feature is that this mattress protector is easy to clean. It is machine-washable. I wash it regularly using my Whirpool fully automatic washing machine under a delicate wash program. The delicate wash program takes care of the protector very well and also cleans it thoroughly. I use liquid detergent to wash this protector. Because of the TPU inner layer, water remains on that surface as it is a waterproof synthetic material. 100% drying is not possible. The upper layer of Teri cotton material dries 50% and water droplets which are seen on the TPU inner layer dry easily when it is hung onto a cloth drier stand. I have been using this mattress protector for the last 2 years and it is still in good condition. Dream care mattress protector is truly a durable and value for money product. The inner synthetic layer is still intact and in good condition after a few machine washes. On first look, Wakefit and Dream Care mattress protectors look alike. Its make, product quality, and product design is 100% the same. Only the Brand name differs. There is not much difference in the quality or design of both products. I feel it is the same product and both Brands are marketing it under their brand name. So you can buy mattress protectors from any brand, Wakefit and Dream Care, Both are of good quality and value for money products.
At the time of purchasing the new mattress, we had inquired about the mattress protector with the Shopkeeper. He had shown a white coloured mattress protector worth Rs.2000/- for our mattress. I found a cheaper one on Amazon for just Rs.939/-. It is a value for money deal, as the product is exactly as per the product description. It is a truly innovative and customer-centric product. It can be the best gift option for a budget below Rs.1000/-
I feel a mattress protector should be able to protect the mattress from all sides. Future design should be able to cover the mattress from the downside also. Because it remains in touch with the wooden bed for a long time. In the rainy season, the wood gets moist and sometimes fungus also grows on low-quality wooden furniture. To protect the mattress from these problems, the new design should cover it from all sides. Maybe a box-type shape with a zip will help to cover it better.
