Isha Foundation Cottage Stay – Do’s
As an Isha Foundation Cottage Guest following are the things you should do.
Every day at 5.30 am Gurpooja is offered at the Sadhana Hall 2 for ladies and at the Suryakund for everyone. Do attend Gurupooja at least once, to experience how a day at Isha starts. As a cottage guest access to the Teerthkunds is free. Make use of the Teerthkunds at least once a day. Take a holy deep in Suryakund/Chandrakund before visiting the Temples. Taking a deep in Teerthkunds will help to clear karmic blockages. After taking a holy deep take darshan of Naga first. Every day at the Shri Linga Bhairavi Devi Temple, Devi Abhishekam is offered 3 times a day, attend at least one Abhishekam to experience Devi’s grace. At the Dhyanalinga Temple, Naad Aradhana is offered twice a day, attend at least one time to receive Dhyanalinga’s grace. If you happen to stay at the Isha Foundation during Full Moon Day/New Moon Day, then do a Milk or Jala offering to the Dhyanalinga. You can also offer Kailash Teertham to the Dhyanalinga on these days. During these days make use of the open temples and do midnight meditations. Visit the Adiyogi Statue and the Yogeshwar Linga at least once a day. Sit there and do Yog Yog Yogeshwaraya chanting at least 12 times. During your stay as a cottage guest eat free food at the Biksha Hall twice a day. Just taste the pure organic yogic food served as a Biksha. Isha Foundation Cottage Stay – Don’t’s
As an Isha Foundation Cottage Guest, you should not do the following things.
Do not carry Cigarettes and other drugs inside the premises. Do not smoke inside the Isha Yoga Center. Do not carry or consume alcohol as a cottage guest. Do not carry or eat non-veg food as a cottage guest. Do not talk on mobile while walking inside the Isha Yoga Center. Maintain silence inside the temples. Do not click photos or make videos inside the Isha Yoga Center. Do not use mobile around the temple premises. Do not carry mobiles into the Temples. Do not click pictures of your stay area. Maintain the sanctity of the space. As a cottage guest wear Indian clothing which covers your body decently. Follow all the guidelines while taking a deep in the Suryakund/Chandrakund.
