Isha Margazhi Sadhana Benefits
Isha Margazhi Sadhana is designed by Shri Sadguruji to bring balance and vibrancy during the month of Margazhi. Margazhi month is the time when the human body needs stability and balance. During the Margazhi month, all of us naturally feel lazy and energetically down. The sadhana is designed to make use of the natural forces at play during this time of the month. This sadhana will assist in bringing physiological, psychological and energetic balance to your system. The guided practices and other elements of the sadhana offer an opportunity to pitch up your sadhana and accelerate your inner growth.
Prerequisite For Isha Margazhi Sadhana
The age limit to practice Isha Margazhi Sadhana is 15 years and above. Anyone who has completed the Isha Inner Engineering Course and has been initiated into Isha Shamabhavi Mahamudra Kriya is eligible to do this Sadhana in person or online.
Isha Margazhi Sadhana Online Guidelines
To practice Margazhi Sadhana an empty stomach condition is strictly required. Please do not consume food or beverages during the practices. Please ensure that you are sitting alone in the room during the online sessions to avoid disturbances. Ensure that there will be no interruptions during the online sessions like using the restroom, answering calls, or checking messages for the entire session. You can create a conducive atmosphere by having a photo of Shri Sadguruji in your sadhana space. You can also light an oil or ghee lamp in front of Shri Sadguruji’s photo. It is best to sit on the floor and attend the online sessions. For best online sessions ensure that you have a stable and strong internet connection. During the Margazhi month incorporate 60% raw food into your diet as it will be strongly supportive of your sadhana.
What Is Isha Margazhi Sadhana Online?
This year Isha Margazhi Sadhana will be practised from the 17th of December 2023 till the 14th of January 2024. Isha Foundation has provided online support for this Margazhi sadhana through the Sadhguru Mobile App. This Sadhana will be practised in two online sessions, one in the early morning and one in the evening session. It does not need any registration, you just have to click the Join Now button to join the online sessions and complete the guided practices for the day. The morning online session will be from 5:30 am to 7:30 am and the evening session will be from 6:05 pm to 6:30 pm.
Tips – The Sadguru App provides support to set alarms before each online session so that you don’t miss any.
How To Do Isha Margazhi Sadhana Online?
This is how you do Isha Margazhi Sadhana online every day till the 14th of January 2024. The morning online session will happen as a guided session which you can access through “Join Now” using the support on the Sadhguru App. In the morning online session at 5:30 am, there will be Guru Pooja followed by an Inner Engineering crash course. 5:40 am will be Aum Namah Shivaya chanting. At 6:20 am there will be guided Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya practice. At 7:10 am there will be a telecast of a Sadguru’s video. From 7:30 am onwards you can do your remaining regular practices on your own.
In the evening session, at 6:05 pm will be a special Margazhi mantra meditation. It will be followed by Sadguru’s Presence Practice at 6:20 pm. You can do evening practices on your own using the Sadhguru App. The support is available on the “Yoga” Tab and the “Meditation” Tab on the Sadhguru App.
Isha Margazhi Mantra Meditation
Isha Margazhi Mantra is a guided meditation process to become dynamic and blissful. Instructions to do the Margazhi mantra meditation are as follows – Sit in a comfortable posture preferably cross-legged on the ground. Sitting in Ardha Siddhasana will be the best posture. Close your eyes. Chant Yoga Yoga Yogeshwaraya 3 times. Place the ring and the middle finger of your left hand at the pit of your throat. Utter the sound MMMM for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes open your eyes. During the Margazhi month, you can continue uttering the sound MMMM with your mouth closed to continue the sadhana all day long.
