I ordered Krayem stainless steel puri press machine in May 2019 through online shopping from Amazon.  It was ordered in cash on a delivery basis. It was delivered within 10 days of order in good condition and packed by Amazon.  The Kreyam stainless steel puri press price was Rs.599/- including taxes.  The shipping charges were free at that time.

On Amazon App, there are various options to choose from in the puri press machine category.  I choose to order the Kreyams puri press because it is big in size compared to other products.

In the Krayems stainless steel puri press review, I want to mention that it is an easy-to-use puri press machine.  The heavy-duty cast iron body is very strong and the stainless steel inside plates are durable and rust-free.  The Kreyams puri press machine is durable as it is made using good quality material.

The Kreyams stainless steel puri press is used to press puri, papad and tortillas.  I have not made papad and tortillas, but I use this puri press machine only to press puris.  After using this puri press machine for the last 1 year, I can say that the puri press machine makes it easy to press round and even size puris in one press.

This is how I use the puri press machine, first knead a soft dough using oil and water.  Roll medium or small size dough balls and keep them ready.  To prevent dough from sticking, use little oil on the inside of the upper and bottom steel plates.  Heat oil in a Kadai for frying puris and keep ready.  Place a dough ball on the bottom plate and slightly press the puri machine using the press handle.  You will get a round puri on a single press. Quickly deep fry it and it is ready to serve.  Press puris and fry them immediately in the Kadai. Puri pressing is an easy, quick and tidy process because of the Kreyams puri press.  One more benefit is that, the puri is pressed using oil and because of that step, the oil in Kadai remains clean.  In the normal manual process of rolling puri using dough, that dough gets burnt along with the puri which can be seen on the bottom of the Kadai.

The major defect in the Krayems puri press design is that it has four rubber feet on the bottom for grip.  but these four feet cannot help the puri press machine stay stable.  The upper plate which is used for putting pressure is very heavy compared to the bottom plate.  Because of this heavy plate when the puri press machine is kept in an open position, it gets tilted on one side.  The bottom four feet would have been made using a vacuum base technique for a firm grip on the countertop which will keep the puri press machine stable in closed and open positions.

On Amazon, in the product description of the Kreyams puri press, it is mentioned that this puri press machine can be used for pressing flatbreads is misleading.  The 7.2 inches diameter puri press is useful to make small-size puris and it is not possible to press chapatis using this small-size puri press machine.

The Kreyams stainless steel puri press is not perfect but it is a durable and useful product which is available on Amazon at a value-for-money deal price.  The Kreyams stainless steel puri press can be a good gift option.  I will recommend this puri press machine to homemakers who have big families and making favourite puris becomes a time-consuming and messy process, this Kreyams puri press will make the job easy and tidy.
