Morphy Richards Hand Blender Review
This is my 1st hand blender. I have been using Morphy Richards hand blender for 1 year and 8 months. This is a multipurpose hand blender and I am using it to blend milkshakes, smoothies, hot soups, and breadcrumbs. This hand blender is easy to use and easy to clean because of its detachable and washable blending attachment.
Morphy Richards hand blender pronto dx pros and cons are as follows –
It operates on the single-speed On/Off press button which is easy to use. The blending operation can be easily controlled using this on/off button.
It has a small plastic hanger loop near the main unit which makes it easy to hang a hand blender on the wall after use.
The main unit and the detachable blending attachment feature lock/unlock with easy clockwise and anti-clockwise movement.
300 watts power is enough to blend soft food items like boiled vegetable soups, soft fruit smoothies and milkshakes
While blending it is important to hold the blending attachment below the mixture to avoid splashing. I use hollow jars to blend smoothies. I blend hot soups directly in my 2 litres pressure cooker.
While blending hot soups it is important to avoid the main unit’s contact with hot utensils to avoid damage to the main unit.
To clean the blending attachment, first, switch the blender off and remove the plug. Remove the blending attachment and clean the stainless steel blender part under the running tap with the use of mild soap and a scrubber. Wipe the blending attachment and make it dry before the next use. Do not wash the main unit using water, it is to be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Soup-making job is time-saving and easy because of its stainless steel blending attachment which can blend hot soups in a saucepan. No need for a mixy jar and no need to pre-cooling the soup mixture which is a time saver. The soup-making becomes a tidy job with Morphy Richard’s hand blender.
The Morphy Richards hand blender’s major con is that its 300 watts motor gets heated after continuous use for more than 1 minute, which requires motor cooling between the next blending cycle. Once the motor is heated you cannot hold it in your hand. It needs to be cooled down. But 1 minute of blending time is enough to blend a soup quantity for 2 to 3 persons.
Morphy Richards hand blender pronto dx is not the best hand blender but a good product according to its price, features and capabilities. This can be a good gift option for a small family. I would recommend Morphy Richards hand blender for doing smaller quantity blending jobs i.e. for 2 to 3 persons
