How To Take Care of Ugaoo Jade Plant  

After receiving the Ugaoo plant, handle the package gently and open the container carefully.  After unboxing, water the Jade plant with enough water to wet the entire soil in the pot.  Initially keep it in the indirect sunlight for at least 1 to 2 hours before keeping it in the indoor area.  Always keep the Jade plant where it will receive indirect sunlight.  I keep the Ugaoo Jade plant in indirect sunlight for at least 4 to 5 hours every day and the rest of the time it is kept on my living room desk.  The watering requirement for the plant is generally just once a week.  But it is ideal to water it whenever the top layer of the soil feels dry.

My suggestion will be that for the first week, keep any Ugaoo plant in indirect sunlight, as in the balcony area.  This will help the Indoor plant to adjust to the new place and the new environment.  As the Ugaoo plants are packed in cardboard containers for safer door delivery.  After unboxing, give them proper sunlight and water for the 1st week to help them to adjust to the new place, let them be healthy again and then shift them to your indoor area.

I ordered the Ugaoo Good Luck Jade plant through online shopping from Amazon.  I had placed an order through an online payment option.  The package was delivered in good condition and in good packaging within 5 days of order.  The live plant container appeared not to have any damage during the transit.  

This was my second online shopping for live plants from Amazon.  I had placed an order for the Jade live plant.  I had received it in a long cylindrical container made of cardboard.  How to use instructions were printed on the colourful cardboard container. Inside the container, a  Jade plant was packed in a pot.  The pot was covered with thin plastic but it did not help to keep the soil inside the pot intact. The leaves of the Jade plant were fresh and lively.  The stems of the Jade plant were straight and standing.  It reached my address in 5 days but the plant was alive and fresh. But after unboxing,  I noticed that the soil in the pot was very dry, it had no moisture and so the dry soil had fallen out of the pot from the bottom side.  The Jade plant was very tiny.  Looking at the dry soil and small Jade plant I was doubtful about its survival.  I would suggest the Ugaoo seller, put a temporary tape on the detachable plate below the pot, which will help to keep the soil intact inside the pot during the transit. I want to appreciate Ugaoo’s efforts.  They have really managed to deliver live plants through courier very well.  

The Ugaoo good luck Jade plant with pot, MRP is Rs.395/-.  I paid the Amazon deal price of just Rs.299/- with tax and free shipping charges.  I am satisfied with the Seller’s service and Amazon because the live plant with self-watering pot is a beautiful deal, it is delivered in good packaging and without any damage or defect with economical pricing.

In this Amazon live indoor plant review of the Ugaoo good luck jade plant with self-watering pot, I want to state that the live plant is beautiful, attractive and idle for home decor because it is low on maintenance.  The idea of the self-watering pots is unique and I loved it. The seller has delivered the exact plant according to my order in good packaging and in healthful condition. 

Ugaoo Jade plant is an air-purifying plant. It is also believed to bring good luck to the house according to Feng Shui Vastu science. The Jade plant in its white pot looks lively and lovely.  Most importantly it does not need a lot of attention.  Just water it once a week and to see it survive and grow is really amazing. It is my 3rd live plant from Ugaoo and I am really happy to have them in my living space. 

For the first week, I kept the Jade plant on my balcony.  And after that, I keep it inside the Living area. This live plant with its oval, fleshy tiny leaves, looks beautiful and brings the place alive with its fresh green colour.  I water jade plants once a week.  Extra water gets collected in the pot tray, which is used by the plant as and when needed.  So this self-watering pot is really helpful, if you are out for a few days then the plant won’t suffer, as you can put water in the tray below.  I found this self-watering pot idea unique and very useful.  Every day, I keep my Ugaoo live plants in indirect sunlight for at least 4 to 5 hours.

On the first appearance, I noticed that the Jade plant was very tiny but alive and a few leaves had fallen off. The soil in the pot was totally dry during the transit.  So I had a doubt looking at its stem size, that this plant might not survive.  After a week I was happy to see that the plant did not die. Periodically, a few leaves were falling off. It did survive well.  After 15 days, new growth in the form of tiny pairs of leaves was seen on the top of the stems.  After 30 days I was sure that this Ugaoo Jade plant will survive.  I was very happy to see the new pair of leaves are seen growing on top of all of the Jade stems.

The soil comes with slow-release fertilizer, which is really good. I do not have to worry about its nutrition.  So for the next 5 months, regular watering will keep the plant healthy.  I hope it survives well.  I really want to see if this plant can survive after 6 months.  I will update you regarding its health status if it completes 1 year.

For the given price of just Rs.299/-, I am getting door-delivery of a live plant with a self-watering pot, I find it’s a really good deal.  A beautiful plant with a beautiful pot, delivered in good condition.  Ugaoo live plant can be the best gift option for plant lovers.  I wish to order more live plants from Amazon because I am getting them ready-made. So beautiful plants and so much variety, it is really exciting to learn about these plants and to have them around you. I am loving it.

My 1st Ugaoo indoor plant order was a combo of Money plant and Syngonium pink plant.  The money plant has survived well.  The Syngonium pink plant died within 2 months.  I had ordered a combo on a deal price, I think they have sent one weak plant because of the price issue.  From this experience, I have learnt that I should order a single live plant every time.  So this time I have ordered a single Jade plant.
