I have ordered a medium-sized chopping board which is rectangular in shape. The finishing of this steel board is smooth, glossy and safe to handle. The Everex stainless steel chopping boards feature a 1.5 mm thick steel plate with a hanger hole, smooth corners and edges. This cutting board is made using 304 food-grade quality steel. The stainless steel quality is high-grade, rust-free and odour free.
It weighs around 1 kg. Because of a hanger hole, it is easy to carry during use and washes. I use stainless steel knives to cut vegetables and fruits. It lies sturdy on the kitchen counter. It can be used from both sides. I prefer to use it from one side. The side which I am using now has scratches made because of sharp steel knives. After use, I wash it manually with mild soap. After washing I just hang it up on the wall. It dries easily. This cutting board is dishwasher safe. Sometimes I wash it using my IFB dishwasher Neptune VX to make it germ-free.
Earlier I was using an ordinary plastic vegetable chopping board. The plastic cutting board used to get scratched.
